Raccoon Cove Hideaway is a classic yet fully-equipped 2.5 bedroom/1.5 bathroom home, in a quiet neighborhood on 1 acre of tranquil cove front property in Lamoine Maine. The house is perched on a bluff overlooking the water with stairs leading to the shoreline where you can walk the shore at low tide, birdwatch or hear fog horns. Kayaks are available for use at high tide, and there is an abundance of wildlife. The neighborhood is quiet and low key and away from the hustle and bustle of the surrounding area. The house is walking distance to Lamoine Beach Park and 35 min to Acadia National Park Hulls Cove Entrance and 45 min to the Schoodic Peninsula. The classic but comfortable living space is all on the second level (stairs required). Wifi & TV with cable, and air conditioning are all available. The basement/garage level has a washer/dryer. All linens, bath and kitchen supplies are provided, the kitchen is stocked with cooking utensils and we even have a closet full of board games and beach toys. This house is comfortable but not modern. If you are looking for a cabin in the woods vibe, or a waterfront sanctuary this is the place for you. Our back deck has a propane barbecue and in the back yard there is a fire-pit for your enjoyment.
